Volunteers / Interns / Instructors
| It is the responsibility of our field staff to look after the safety of our students
and to provide them with an enjoyable, educational Educo experience. Therefore, the selection of field staff on our summer
courses is of paramount importance. In order to obtain a paid position on our summer courses, all candidates are required to
intern or volunteer in our office or on a course beforehand.
In addition, all Educo instructors must be Wilderness First Responder certified. |

| Orchestrating an Educo course is a complex and demanding task requiring
commitment and 24-hour/day involvement. It is important at the outset that the instructor is clear about her/his motives for
instructing. It is expected that instructors have competent outdoors skills, care deeply about young people, and are actively
involved in an ongoing process of personal discovery. Welcome to Educo!
