Educo Brasil has been operating on a project basis since its foundation in 1996. Without financial help, it counts with volunteer work form directors and staff. Since 1996 we have implement the follow actions and projects:

- Participation at Educo International Gatherings: Colorado 1996, Colorado 1997, Bulgaria 1998, Colorado 1999.

- ESALQ/USP: Agulhas Negras Peak, 1996. Support at he Environmental Education Course at ESALQ. 15 students.

- IMAFLORA: Forest Reserve, 1997. Organization and facilitation of a Workshop. 25 participants.

- Leadership & English Course: Colorado-USA, 1997. Organization of a trip of 4 Brazilian youth to participate at a course with Educo Colorado.

- SENAC: Itatiaia, 1997. Organization and promotion of a Workshop about Experiential Outdoor Education. 11 participants.

- Instructor Training, 1998. Serra Fina, SP. 8 participants.

- GIFE: Forestry Reserve of O Boticario Foundation, Curitiba-PR, 1999. Outdoor activities to develop leadership. Public: 20 trainees of different Foundations, Institutes and other non-profit organizations.

The Educo International Alliance gathering was held in Bahia, Brasil in March, 2002. The Educo International Alliance has agreed that a priority for the next 2 - 3 years is to assist Educo Brasil to become a full time, year round operation. Educo Brasil is currently applying for funding to launch a program for youth at risk in Sao Paulo.
